When you think of celebrities that make the "How did they become famous?" list, you think of people like Gary Busey, Kim Kardashian, and others. But the first person that usually pops up on that list will always be David Hasselhoff.
In Europe, you can't get much bigger than David Hasselhoff. Why? Not really sure.
Maybe they are a little behind on the times? I mean, Knight Rider and Baywatch have been over for a long time. Maybe it's his beautiful forrest of chest hair?
