Congrats to everyone in the United States for marriage equality. I shouldn’t have to congratulate anyone, because we should all be able to find happiness no matter who we love. But, our country has finally done the right thing.

Some folks are upset that they will have to explain this to their kids. News flash, the internet exists so they probably already know what a “blue waffle” is, and being gay is something they have known about since they started school.

I always had to ask my parents what things meant, because we didn’t have the internet (and I didn’t have many friends).

And leave it to Jimmy Kimmel to get the scoop from kids on the streets about marriage equality.

The responses are great because kids (for the most part) haven’t been tainted with terrible thoughts. Although, you can tell the one kid who talks about financial situations with marriage may have a dad who is already scarring his thoughts on marriage.
