Since Friday’s are now the day for music releases, I am thinking we should showcase the newest/hottest songs that have the interwebs a buzz. And today, Justin Bieber released “What Do You Mean.” Yesterday, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis dropped “Downtown.” And a few days before that, The Weeknd put out the music video for “Tell Your Friends.”
Lets start with The Weeknd.
In a world of auto-tune, The Weeknd stands out with some of the most powerful vocals we have in the industry right now.
His new album Beauty Behind the Madness is out today. Check out the new song “Tell Your Friends”, but don’t turn it up too loud at work because it’s NSFW for language.
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis dropped a new song and video called “Downtown.” And websites are already saying it’s a Kidz Bop version of Kendrick Lamar’s “King Kunta.”
Macklemore buys a moped and terrorizes downtown. It even has appearances from Melle Mel, Kool Moe Dee, Grandmaster Caz, and Eric Nally. Baseball star Ken Griffey Jr. even pops up looking like his rookie year!
And finally, Justin Bieber released the song “What Do You Mean?” that he has been teasing all month.
