My baby boy Cruz is becoming a young man with every passing day. It is so wild to see him growing up and any day now he will start talking. He is trying to say things like “light” and “house”. And soon it will be, “LEAVE ME ALONE DAD. YOU ARE SO UNCOOL!”
Until then, I will enjoy the time I get to spend with him in his soon to be toddler stages.
One of his favorite things to do is read books. He picks them up (usually upside down) and babbles his way through them. It’s awesome, because I know he thinks he is reading it just like his mom or I would.
And sometimes, he gets upset when you stop at just one. I can’t tell you how many times I have read “Whatever You Do, I Love You,” “My Dad and Me,” and “Snuggle Up Sleepy Ones.”
So, this video made me smile. Because A) I love babies. And B) it reminds me of my son.
