There is nothing cooler than watching whales breach. I had an opportunity to take a trip to Maui and while having breakfast, I could see whales jumping out of the water. It is just the coolest. If you ever get a chance to go to Hawaii, go around March. That is mating season for the whales and they are everywhere!
The picture at the top is just one of the many cool pictures we got.
There were also dolphins EVERYWHERE when we went on a snorkling tour.
Having said all that fun stuff, whales are HUGE and unpredictable.
And folks enjoying a whale watching excursion got amazing video of a whale breaching. The only problem is there were kayakers in the way and the whale landed on top of them.
Luckily, everyone was ok.
