My wife and I are looking for daycare for two boys, and we are trying to find a respectable place where we can send our boys to have fun, be young, nap, eat, and get sick. Really, just a place where we can drop them off, and when we pick them up they will be in one piece still.
We have checked out care.com, asked friends and family for references, and done a little research on the web just googling sitters in the area.
While looking around, we stumbled onto this. I don’t usually browse Craigslist unless I need a laugh. Missed Connections is usually absolutely hilarious. This definitely sparked my interest.
Is Craigslist a place to find a babysitter?
I found this guy, who is 52 and would love to be a Manny. He will even give your husband or boyfriend a shoulder rub after a long day of work. Here is the info on the post:
I am a 52 yo manny. I was at Kroger on Saturday and saw a woman and her young daughter, she looked like she needed some help taking some of the stress off being a mom. All I know about her is she drove a dark colored Honda Pilot and has blonde hair and by the time I got in my car to follow her she was already to far ahead of me to catch up. I have taken care of multiple children, I teach ballroom dancing, and do couples massages. So if you are interested in me being your manny I will throw in a free massage every night after you get off work, if you have a boyfriend or husband I am happy to do him too😀.
Not sure, but maybe he should put a shirt on?!? I mean, I’m not trying to oppress this man’s comfortable, shirtless lifestyle… but if you are seeking any job really, shouldn’t you have a shirt on?
Looks like he has a decent tan, so you can almost be assured that the kids will get plenty of time playing outside.
Sure, he’s no Mary Poppins or Joe Frost, but, those massages are enticing.
