I haven’t had to go all out and prepare a full Thanksgiving meal for my family. Maybe some day.
It can be extremely stressful for everyone, which is why I try to help as much as possible while staying out of the way!
For me, it’s also a lot of fun to try and keep all the kids occupied by chasing them around and body slamming them every chance I get.

When you think Alexander’s, you usually think steak! Well, for Thanksgiving you can still get steak and seafood, but you can also get a traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings at Alexander’s for just $20.99. Jim’s Steakhouse – 4p-10p

For our Bloomington-Normal friends, word is the Ozark House has one of the best Thanksgiving spreads in central Illinois! Call ahead and reserve your spot at (309) 827-3900. It’s $20.99 for adults and $10.99 for children under 12.

Of course, places like Bob Evans, Cracker Barrel, and Golden Corral have all of your favorite Thanksgiving meals too! Just do yourself a favor and call ahead to check on seating availability, times, and just to make sure they are open!
