I am a big fan of Miguel. Kaleidoscope Dream was my soundtrack for life for a while. Then he crushed that girls face at the BBMAs (Never Forget). His next album was good, but missed the mark with the mainstream.
His track “Cadillac” for The Get Down soundtrack was DOOOOOPE! At least, I thought so.
And I wasn’t sure Miguel would be able to get back to the smash success he had with KD. Well, he’s back. And, he brought Travis Scott with him.
The new track is titled “Sky Walker,” and I heard it recently on HBO’s Insecure.
The hook has a bit of corny swag to it, and the verses let Miguel’s smooth vocals shine. Then Travi$ Scott jumps in and the track pops!
