The 30th Annual Stuff A Bus is happening right now!!!

Please help feed those in need in our community by bringing non-perishable foods and canned good items to our studios at Radio Plex downtown Peoria, from 8a-5p, Monday thru Friday! We will use that money to help restock the shelves at the Peoria Friendship House.

No one in our community should go hungry, especially children. So help make a difference this holiday season!

According to the CityLink press release:

To celebrate this milestone anniversary of Stuff-A-Bus, 30 families/individuals who are currently using or have used the services provided by the Peoria Friendship House will be featured on the official Stuff-A-Bus Facebook page (www.facebook.com/stuffabuspeoria) throughout the duration of the campaign.

For the past 30 years, CityLink has hosted the Stuff-A-Bus food drive to help eliminate hunger in Peoria. With a long partnership with Kroger to collect enough food to stuff a classic CityLink bus, the donations collected during the annual food drive benefit the food pantry at the Peoria Friendship House. Since January of this year, the Peoria Friendship House food pantry has provided approximately 54,000 meals to families and individuals who are dealing with hunger in Peoria.

Also participating as longtime partners in the Stuff-A-Bus food drive are Cumulus Radio, WYZZ Fox 43, WMBD CBS 31, CIPROUD.com, and the Amalgamated Transit Union #416.

Donations will be collected at all Peoria Kroger locations and the Kroger store in East Peoria from October 27 to November 27. The final tonnage of food collected during the campaign will be announced at a press conference on November 28 at the Peoria Friendship House.
