Shout out to my campaign manager Tim who helped me get to my goal AND has become a good friend of mine in the process. He is doing amazing things in the community with Best Buddies, and we have a few things up our sleeve in the future for people and families with developmental disabilities!

Congratulations also go out to the other “Champion of the Year” nominees and to Jason Gambill, THE Champion of the Year 2018 with Best Buddies.

And Best Buddies will be working in schools here in central Illinois, making sure EVERYONE has a friend. Their goal is to make sure everyone with a developmental disability has a network of friends and an opportunity to live their best life!

What can you do to help? Invite a friend with a developmental disability to eat, pumpkin picking, to a Rivermen game, or just to go for a walk. It’s that easy to change the world around you!

As a father of a child on the autism spectrum, the people listed above are my friends who have no idea how much the support means to me. It is my mission to make sure everyone feels included in life! Will you join me?
