Ok so $10 is also what I paid for the five tickets, so I broke even. Doesn’t exactly have me living like DJ Khaled just yet. But can you imagine how much I was panicking when I started to see some numbers matching?!?! That feeling when you start to go just a little numb, followed by a sigh of disappointment :). I’m off to reinvest my ‘winnings’ for the Record 1.6 Billion (and counting) jackpot. So many people say the first thing they’ll do when they win is quit their job. I think I would still work…. you know until the sale for my private jet goes through. What is the first crazy thing you’d do with over a billion dollars, after the big three: panic, do a victory dance, and start breathing again? If it’s throw a massive party, don’t forget our invite!
I can’t even fathom what that kind of money even means (aside from searching “things that cost a billion dollars”), I’m thinking my action plan is:
- Pay bills! (boring, but it has to be step 1)
- Hire a lawyer
- Buy a house – or two
- Gotta furnish that/those house(s)
- Set up some trust funds
- Set up travel funds
- Then it’s time to asses how much you can give charities, friends, family
- NOW WHAT?!? Buy a zoo?
