This is HUGE! Easterseals Central Illinois had their 45th annual telethon on March 1st and 2nd. They are celebrating 100 years of progress, inclusion, and empowerment… so the stakes were high for a great turn out. And central Illinois didn’t disappoint!
Together, we raised $3,139,463 for Easterseals. That money will help families understand develpmental disabilities and delays better. PLUS, it will provide services and care for children with developmental disabilities to live a more independent life.
As a parent of a child with developmental disabilities, this is extremely heart-warming to see the support from my community.
PLUS, seeing how therapy has changed my son’s life gives me hope that there are families who will get to celebrate different milestones and growth within their household with the support of Easterseals!
